UoM Student winner of FameLab Science Communication Competition National Final 2021

Ms Pooja Seenauth, student on the BSc (Hons) Food Science and Technology (minor: Food Entrepreneurship) programme is the winner of the FameLab Science Communication Competition National Final 2021 organised by the British Council on Saturday 09 October 2021.  Ms Pooja Seenauth delivered a talk based on her final year project/dissertation entitled “Sensory profiling and quality assessment of plant-based burgers formulated with jackfruit, legumes, oyster mushrooms, nuts and seeds” and undertaken in the recently renovated Food Science Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mauritius.
