The Department of Management (DOM) is one of the main departments of the Faculty of Law and Management since its creation in 1992.The Department has 20 full time academic staff members and also receives the support of part time staff from leading organisations in Mauritius.

The Department currently offers a variety of undergraduate programmes in the field of Management, with specialisations in the areas of Human Resources, Digital Marketing, International Business, Entrepreneurship and Tourism. Additionally, we also have postgraduate taught degrees such as the Masters in Business Administration with specialisation in HRM and Marketing.We work in close collaboration with the public and private sectors in areas relating to research, consultancy and practical training/work placement.

The Department also has a number of local and international doctoral students currently pursuing their MPhil/Phd in Management related areas, while many have already been awarded their doctorates. We aim to create a strong research culture so as to provide evidence based solutions to solve managerial problems.

We are also highly committed to enhancing the student’s experience through our blended learning mode since 2020.
