Dr Liu Linyan joined CI-UoM in Sept 2021 and served Confucius Institute with passion and enthusiasm.
Prior to joining CI-UoM, Linyan was a Chinese Teacher at Bon Secours Primary School, Mauritius from 2015-2017. She came back to serve, for almost two years, as Mandarin teacher at Confucius Institute at University of Mauritius.
Linyan recently completed her PhD of Education in ‘Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages’ at Shaanxi Normal University, 2019-2023. She spent a good part of her study time in Mauritius doing her research work and serving CI-UoM. We congratulate her for her success and wish her more to come as an academic staff of the Institute of Literature and Education, Shaanxi Institute of International Trade & Commerce, China.
