“Thank you CI for the opportunity to explore the cultural landscape of China during the winter camp at Zhejiang Science and Technology University. We highly appreciated the visit to the facilities at the university and the opportunities international students enjoy during their stay in China. The discussions with the Deputy Dean, School of Material Science and Engineering as well as with the Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation have led to the possibility of staff exchange between the two institutions and working on collaborative research projects in the area of nano materials. We rely on the continual support of CI for the identified projects to take shape.”

“China is a wonderful country with nice people, great culture and high technology.  I was awe stricken by the wonderful sceneries of the country especially West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  I had a wonderful opportunity to prepare vegetables dumplings hosted by a Chinese family, learn mandarin from adorable lăoshīs and most importantly eat vegetable Huǒguō at ZSTU canteen. It was a life-changing experience for me in China."

“Winter Camp 2019 in Hangzhou has been an enriching and memorable experience for all of us.
We were left dazzled by its beautiful places, lakes, temples and museums and had the opportunity to experience the rich Chinese traditional culture. The visit to a primary school left us amazed as to how creative these little champs can be. We felt like celebrities when the kids asked us for autographs. Unforgettable memories in China. Long Live CI-UoM.”

I am forever thankful to CI-UoM, the Chinese and Mauritian student volunteers and all the "laoshis" for this immense experience.”

I am very thankful to the staff of ZSTU and the student volunteers for their friendliness and help throughout the trip.  The teachers were very kind and pleasant. "Wo ai Zhong guo". 🙂”
