he Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition at the Confucius Institute at University of Mauritius with the theme of "Delights of Brush Paint" was held online and attracted the interest of Chinese calligraphy and painting enthusiasts from various circles of the Mauritian society. As many as 45 participants signed up for the competition. There were four award categories for the competition: First, Second and Third prizes as well as Awards of Excellence. Prof Zhang Kangfu of CI-UoM, Professor of Design, Institute of International Education, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, invited professional lecturers from Tianjin Painting Academy, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University to serve as judges.
