All nineteen participants to the Summer Camp in China, held in June 2019, were invited to participate in a Chinese Essay and Photo Competition entitled: ‘China in my Eyes’. The exhibition was held on the campus of the University of Mauritius from 27th to 30th Sept 2019. Staff, students and the public were invited to the open-air exhibition.
The essays and photos gave the visitors a perspective of China. During their visit to China, the CI-UoM students took note of what they see, heard and felt: the hospitality of the Chinese; the food in all its variety; the fascinating and colourful local cultures amongst other things.
Many visitors to the exhibition expressed their eagerness to visit China and live similar experiences.
