On 04 October 2024, the UoM Students' At Work (SAW) Club in collaboration with the UoM Students' Union, the UoM Dance Club and the UoM Music Society, organised the Deepavali Show 2024 at the University of Mauritius. It was a vibrant celebration of culture, unity, and tradition, attended by hundreds of enthusiastic students. Graced by Her Excellency Mrs. Nandini Singla, High Commissioner of India, the event was brought to life by heartfelt performances, traditional dances, and colorful displays, capturing the essence of Deepavali’s festive spirit.

The event aimed to bring together students from diverse backgrounds in a shared celebration of Indian culture, with highlights such as the lighting of lamps, stunning classical and Bollywood dance performances, and a fashion show that showcased creativity and diversity.

Weeks of meticulous planning by dedicated teams ensured flawless execution, from decorations to refreshments. The overwhelming participation and success of the event reflected the hard work and collaborative spirit of all involved, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
