Strengthening International Academic Partnerships - Visit of Prof Eita
The University of Mauritius was pleased to welcome Professor Eita from the University of Johannesburg, who visited the University under the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Scheme at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
As part of his visit, Professor Eita paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor, Dr Kavi Kumar Khedo, on 30 June 2026.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on higher education, academic collaboration and shared aspirations for strengthening partnerships between the two institutions.
The UoM remains committed to fostering international cooperation that promotes academic excellence, knowledge exchange and impactful research.
