How UoM contributes to Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
The University of Mauritius plays an important role in advancing good health and well-being, both in Mauritius and internationally. Through its programmes in medicine and health sciences fields, the University educates health professionals who go on to serve communities at home and abroad. Its research addresses a broad range of national and global health priorities. Equally, UoM is dedicated to fostering the physical and mental wellbeing of its staff and of its diverse student community, both local and international.
The following sections highlight the University’s key initiatives under SDG 3, structured in line with the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings framework, from partnerships with health institutions to the support services available to our students and staff.
