Venue: POWA, University of Mauritius 

Expected Attendance: 100-150 Participants  

Brief: Mauritius’ coral reef ecosystems are increasingly threatened by plastic pollution, coastal development, climate change, and land-based runoff. This event aims to raise awareness about coral reef conservation and the importance of protecting marine ecosystems while encouraging student engagement with marine science and environmental responsibility. 

This event is in line with SDG 14 - Life below water.
