

1. Research Collaborative Agreement
A Research Collaborative Agreement (RCA) is a contract between the researcher(s) and an international institution/organisation/agency setting out the terms and conditions for the conduct of joint research. Such research projects may also be referred to as externally funded projects. The RCA is not legally binding.
Research Collaborative Agreements are processed at the level of the Office of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academia) following recommendation of the respective Faculty/Centre. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mauritius is the signatory for all Research Collaborative Agreements entered into.

2. Internship Agreement
The Internship Agreement (IA) is educational in nature and is not specifically regulated by law. The three parties, i.e. the home institution, host institution and the student have to agree on the conditions under which the IA will be concluded.
