The data controller for this online system is the University of Mauritius (UoM) whose office is situated at Reduit, Mauritius.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 2017, the data controller will collect and maintain your personal information in order to complete the transactions and fulfill requests for services. We will process these data for administrative and analytical purposes such as handling of application, billing, and management of student & staff information. You are advised to provide the requested data, otherwise UoM shall not process your request.
All personal information is treated with the utmost confidentiality, with appropriate levels of security and protected from unauthorized disclosure. We will not sell, license, or trade your personal information to others. Some of your data, as required for provision of the particular service, may be transmitted to our service providers/partners during the execution of certain activities of the UoM. Otherwise, we will reveal your information only if it is allowed by law or authorized by you.
By submitting your data to the university, you confirm that you are fully aware of the provisions applicable under the Data Protection Act. You consent that we capture, store, update and process the data given by you.
Under the terms of the Data Protection Act you have the right to ask for a copy of any information we hold on you against payment of an administrative fee and to request the amendment of any incorrect information held. Introduction
The Student e-Review System (SeRs) has been devised with a view to speed up the process of applications for Review of Examination Scripts/Projects/Dissertations lodged by students of the University of Mauritius so as to provide a more efficient service to the student community.
Instructions
- Go to the Student Online System
- Login using your student ID and password and click on Result and then e-Review;
- Fill in the mandatory fields indicated in red;
- Upload all marked assignments and tests, where applicable at the time of applying for the Review.
In case a scanned copy of marked assignments cannot be provided on-line, kindly submit a hard copy at the earliest to the Examinations Office, 1st floor, Ex-CPDL Building, University of Mauritius; and - Confirm successful completion at the end of application.
Notes
- Ensure requests for Review of Examination Scripts/Projects/Dissertations are lodged within seven (7) working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) of accessing the Transcript on-line. All marked assignments and tests should be submitted at the time of applying for the Review.
- A payment of Rs 1,300 per module is applicable and must be effected as follows:

At the Cash Office counter, Finance Section, University of Mauritius.
Or
By Bank Transfer to the UoM Bank Account. - The outcome of the request(s) for Review will be communicated by e-mail in due course subject to payment of Rs 1,300 per module. Refund of the fee, if applicable, will be made by the Finance Section, UoM to the student accordingly.
- The whole amount will be refunded to the student if the latter’s grade is improved following the Review of his/her Examination Scripts/Projects/Dissertations.
